After a week of snow in Kentucky, we turn our thoughts to warmer climes. This began on a back porch on Sanibel Island and ended up on a driveway in Kentucky. There are places and times when we seem to naturally connect with the ground of our being. Sometimes a change of scenery can help us find these deep connections. Maybe these moments of connection can help us discover that the divine is always near.

Here's a blessing for the week:

May you find delight hiding in
every nook and cranny.
May you be overwhelmed by the
million tiny kindnesses
you encounter.
May you be awash in a steady,
invisible flow of grace.
May laughter be your friend.
May tears come and go like spring rains.
May you discover,
down deep,
a wholeness,
a belonging,
a certitude,
that you are part of God.
That you are cherished—
just like this.
And so may you be you,
all the way into Love's fullness.

Here are the lyrics for this week's song:

You Can Find Me

You can find me in the rumble of the ocean.
You can find me in the curtsy of these reeds.
You can find me in these dark and shining waters.
You can find me.

You can find me in the heron's contemplation.
You can find me where the mangroves dip their feet.
You can find me where the ripples meet their maker.
You can find me.

You can find me in the darkness.
You can find me in the light.
Take a breath in this moment.
See what you will find.

You can find me in the sparkling of sea glass.
You can find me in the sand slipping neath your feet.
You can find me in between these tumbling waters.
You can find me.

You can find me in the darkness.
You can find me in the light.
Take a breath in this moment.
See what you will find.

You can find me where the light unravels each morning.
You can find me in what’s moving tween these trees.
You can find me even amongst these silver shadows.
You can find me.

You can find me in the darkness.
You can find me in the light.
Take a breath in this moment.
See what you will find.

You can find me back at home in old Kentucky.
You can find me in your driveway's cracked concrete.
You can find me where the frost bathes in the dawn light.
You can find me in the leaves crunching neath your feet.

You can find me in the darkness.
You can find me in the light.
Take a breath in this moment.
See what you will find.
